Is MIDI the New MINI.?

Today, I will prove to you that short girls can indeed wear a midi dress.While researching the midi dress I found out a lot of information stating that it’s hard to wear the midi dress length and some mentioned that you should not wear a midi dress or skirt at all. 

Just like its shorter cousin, the midi‘s length varies from just below the knee to mid-calf. This length is also known by some as “tea-length” which gives it a nice, lady-like ring to it, don’t you think?😁❤

Ranging from just above the knee to mid-calf, this length offers a little more coverage, but is the most versatile length from season-to-season.💖

The midi skirt is a clear favorite for this Spring! Because of its length (below the knee, to mid calf)  it can be a bit tricky to style. Wear a rather tight top, and remember to keep it tucked in to define your waist. It’s also a good idea to wear a shoe with somewhat of a heel to it when wearing a midi skirt; because the length of the skirts cuts off the length of your legs, heels will help with getting your leg length back.💞♥

Regardless of whether your midi is below the knee or mid-calf, it’s best to wear shoes with a little bit of heel to balance it all out. Taller girls can probably rock the midi with flats but petites and those of average height will need a little more boost in the height department. Strappy heels or wedges look gorgeous for summer while for fall, temper it with classic high-heeled pumps.♥♣

The other thing I look for in a midi dress is that it’s simple and elegant. My favorite style of dresses are those that offer elegance without the need for much accessories. These pieces are eye-catching even without accessories to make it stand out.Don’t be afraid to try a style out and make it your own, even when most say you should avoid it. If you love it, fantastic. If you don’t, at least you gave it a try and scratched the curiosity itch.💚😍

In terms of styling, I went with a midi skirt from H&M and a full sleeves top from H&M too, Heels from CHARLES AND KEITH.💘

DO IT IN A TRADITIONAL WAY

Hey guys!! Welcome back to the blog. Hope all of you have been doing Great.💋

Most of us love one thing about Punjabi's...? Yes, its their dressing. The vibrant colors, beautiful embroidered sarees, patiala salwars, .and specially PHULKARI..and so much more! From 'Paani-da-rang' to Yo-Yo Honey Singh, Punjabi culture is picking up like never before. From food, music, celebs its raw fashion that is making an impression in the market. 
The Phulkari Embroidery has made a comeback.😍💋

Phulkari is one of my favourite types of embroidery, which is an embroidery technique from the Punjab region and literally means ‘Flower Work’. The embroidery is done in silk threads with bright colors to form a geometrical pattern. Thus the motify and patterns of Phulkari essentially contain floral designs and motifs.Bright colour combinations are used for the floral patterns and they can be seen in almost all traditional attire.💘🙈

As the Phulkari had a pink base and embroidery in colours such as blue and green,I paired it with a plain yellow floor-length Anarkali suit.It is definitely a very bright color combination.💛

BLACK AND WHITE WITH A TOUCH OF GOLD.!!

Hello my lovers!! How are you all.??😁

You might have seen me wearing a lot of white bottoms these days. White ripped denims, skinny pants, etc. You know that thing you do, every time you have something that's overdone by you but you won't stop because you love it that much. That's exactly what's happening right now. Yes, that’s my thing right now.❤🙈

Over here, I decided to do all black and white with a touch of GOLD. I went for white skinny denims with this off shoulder top from ZARA.😍

I like this top for three reasons, one, it's black, it's off-shoulder and it has back cuts which is totally chic and in trend. I went for my minimal bold and sleek black heels and to add some color to the otherwise monochrome outfit, I went for this Gold sling bag.

It's a very minimal and classy look. All you need to add to this look is the attitude, walk with confidence and make heads turn!❤💋

And last but not least, black and white will almost always look chic. With little to worry about when it comes to wearing black and white looks just make sure the clothes fit you correctly and you’ll be set. This contrasting color combination is universal, very appealing and you can easily adapt it to your personality and comfort level.💞😻

People say no body is perfect, do you agree to that? Just wanna highlight a few things when we say nobody is perfect... honestly, who has actually defined PERFECT. Like what is this perfect all about and why can't you be perfect? YOU have the power to change that statement and make your life a perfect life for YOU!💋

When you look at an individual and say that he or she is perfect, there is some part of their life which they're working on to overcome that which only they know about. What you see is not the actual story. You have to be grateful for the things that are happening your way, I'm sure there are certain things that you are happy about!You are perfect exactly as you are;there is no need to change anything,except the thoughts that you aren't good enough.Perfect people are not real and real people are not perfect.You don't have to be perfect  to be amazing.perfect. Acceptance is the key to happiness & once you accept things the way it's coming to you, that's perfect. Things seem to look perfect & that's best for that moment and for you. 😁😁

Never think any lesser about yourself just by comparing to others, you are the best the way you are and there's a reason behind everything that's happening. Be who you are not the one that the world wants you to be. In case nobody told you today -you are BEAUTIFUL, you are LOVED,you are NEEDED, you are STRONG,you are ENOUGH. :) Because you're perfect!

To kick off my Dress Coding series, today I’ll be cracking the code behind “business professional” dress, also known as “business formal.”😍

If you’re a fashionable girl working in a buttoned-up, ultra conservative world, dressing professionally is an absolute must. Unfortunately, professional settings are not exactly friendly to the fashion forward. Luckily, you can maintain a level of style by working in fashionable elements through subtle accessories and chic silhouettes.💞

Business professional attire for women is very similar to what men are expected to wear: The Power Suit. No, this doesn’t mean you have to wear a boxy jacket, pinstripe pants and a tie… Instead, opt for a slim cut pantsuit, a skit and jacket combination, or a structured (and modest) dress.💋

Hi everyone! 👋

When you think of denim overalls or denim dungarees, your first thoughts probably drift towards the 90’s and those really baggy, largely unflattering pairs that many used to wear, coupled with boots. As trends always come back around, denim overalls are having their moment right now (just like jumpsuits) and have been gaining popularity.😊

Denim overalls or dungarees, whichever you want to call them, have been going strong as a trend for a couple of seasons now, mainly hitting it big in the Summertime when worn with crop tops and sandals, however , you just have to change the styling. I find denim overalls to be somewhat of an ultimate classic piece that you really can’t go wrong with.❤✌

 Overalls have really come a long way from the “farmer” label that was given to my friends and in high school. It is very common to find overalls that have the same styles as today’s stylish denim.  We can see them with rips, slashes, in leather, cropped, flare, shorts, and so many many more styles. If you can dream of it, you can now find an overall that suits your style.💗

So I went with a Dungarees from ZARA, shoes from REEBOK and a full sleeves top from ZARA too.💚

A DAY IN PALAZZO PANTS.!!

Well its true that the super tight look of the skinny pants have had a grip on our wardrobe for as long as I can remember but we have to agree that during summers when it gets a little humid, we are drawn towards a looser, slouchier silhouette.And our legs could use some breathing room, isn’t it? There is  a certain swag in a wide legged flowy trouser that is really appealing  and is a good way  to give your basic shift dresses a much-needed break.😉

Everywhere you look, Palazzo pants are making a comeback. You see them on the street,at a party, at the beach, in the office and even at weddings. Hugely popular in the 60s and 70s, it’s easy to see why everyone loves them now. They’re stylish, comfortable, and above all versatile, so if you’re wondering whether they’re for you, or you’re stuck for ideas about how to wear palazzo pants, take the plunge and jump right in.💛

Palazzo pants are supremely comfortable because of their wonderfully loose cut, which allows the legs to swirl around you as you walk and gives a graceful flare to your figure. This loose styling can be relatively conservative, rather like French-cut flared jeans which flare from the hip rather than the waist. But if you prefer, you can find palazzo pants which are very loosely styled, looking almost like a maxi dress rather than pants.😀💙

As well as the standard waistline, there are also high –waisted and low rise versions, each bringing its own special flair to the palazzo pants style. Some palazzo pants, especially the closer fitting version, have zip closures at the front or side, but the looser styles tend to have elasticated or drawstring  waists.💥💛
